The word Tafseer meaning in English is “explanation” or “exegetics” of the Holy Quran. The Tafsir Quran attempts to explain and elucidate an interpretation of the Holy Quran, for the purpose of understanding the words of Allah and His will.
The Holy Quran possesses a vast amount of knowledge, which is why it takes longer to memorize the Holy Quran, and it takes even longer if done with Tafsir. The Holy Quran is considered a book that is read so often but still is the least understood book.
